Mr. Wakobi, as he will prefer being called, was born Timothy Myles.
He is an American rapper, singer and song writer with an African appeal, born in Los Angeles, California, but raised in Jackson, Michigan.
He comes from a musically inclined family on his mother’s side and began gaining interest in music around the age of eight.
He wrote his first song, Good Bye, which was inspired by his parents and since then, a pen and pad have always been glued to his hands.
Mr. Wakobi is currently working on his album with award winning producers, ID Cabasa and Cohbams. His music is always inspired by day-to-day encounters with life, while his mission is to put Nigerian music on the world map and the yet-to-be-titled album will be dropped in the first quarter of next year, both in Nigeria and the United States of America.
