Since the surreptitious arrival of former President Ya’adua to Abuja from Saudi Arabia, without the slightest knowledge of Goodluck Jonathan(former VP), the aiding and abetting of the military chiefs, State Security Service and the lack-luster performance of the Inspector-General of Police in security, I knew their days were numbered. Besides, you are only a Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces, in Africa, if you appoint your own man. Jonathan is gradually becoming his own man.

this is a good step. Jonathan should always remind those at the hem of govt to always adhere to court rule. Now that Onovo is out what will be his fate with the present court order? I hope his case will turn out to be like Balogun’s. Jonathan thank for sacking that Danbazza of a person who is like a green snake under a green grass.

Put trustworthy people in place ahead of next year election if you are really sincere of one man one vote and i also recommend that new police uniform without pockets should be approved and watch out for where they will hide their raked money for the masses.

  9. This is a very good job. Its now that I know GEJ is working. Let them go, we need new breed and young gallant officers. Onovo is a failure, People should now know that loyalty always go with hard work. Good for 2011 general election. I also pray for the new Ag. IGP to be a shining example to the younger generation. GEJ we are solidly behind your good policies and 2011 ambition, The lord will guide us, PDP or no PDP the masses are with you. I m not a politician & i dont know GEJ, but ,I believe in what I see of quality leadership. Long live FRN.

This action is long overdue, what with embarrassing sidelining of the then acting president Jonathan on the “security coup” when Yaradua returns from Saudi health sojourn

At last an igbo man gets what he has been deprived since civil war, now to onovo where will he run to after his many contempt charges. This is what they say no condition is permanent, today may be yours tomorrow for others. I remember this same onovo when ribadu sneekrd into nigeria and for onovo to admit his incompetencies claimed the mediamen imagine our media was lying. The ignoramus thomas said if this was true at least someone would have taken his picture and by the time this was splashed on the pages of newspaper he said afterall he is not the immigration helmsman. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Joe goodluck to you and weldone.

  18. KAADI

Oh Onovo, foundermental human rights violation was rampant among your men while you served. I hope the present police chief will not allow that, and he will ensure that the basic rights of the ordinary man on the street are not been violated by men of the police force

  19. Darl

Good job at least let the new security chiefs make the country save for people to lIve in, If you solve the problem of kidnapping, you will win lots of hearts. It has given Nigeria a black eye on our already bad image. Good luck to our new Police chief.

  20. NOW DANBANZA HAVE BEEN SACK, I WISH THE NEW ARMY CHIEF GEN. IHEJIRIKA WILL NOW DEPLOY SOME TROOPS IN A BLACK NIGHT WITHOUT APPROVAL FROM PRESIDENCY TO WELCOME THE HALF DEAD DANBANZA TO STILL HOLD ON AS HE DID DURING THE TIME OF YAR-ADUA, AND AGAIN DEPLOY SOME MASQURADE TO GO TO JOS KILL THE REMAINING CHRISTIAN THERE, RUBBISH IN THE HIGHEST ORDER.
