StarTimes Offers More Channels

NTA Star TV Network Limited, owners and operator of StarTimes, have recently provided additional channels on its bouquet to ensure that subscribers get more value for their money.

A statement by the management of the company on Wednesday stated: “These channels include STV Kungfu, Euro Channel, STV Music, Nature + History Channel, Fashion One, MCS and MCS Extreme. These were carefully selected based on constant demands from our esteemed subscribers, and more importantly, to ensure that subscribers get much more value for their money.”

StarTimes, which recently acquired the free-to-air media rights for the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League for sub-Sahara Africa, excluding South Africa for 2012-2015, has also gone a step further to secure the Seria A rights for 2011-2012 football season.

StarTimes would be broadcasting live matches from one of the most glamorous leagues in the world,the Italian Seria A. The Seria A matches would be broadcast on STV Kungfu, one of the newly introduced channels.

StarTimes is currently engaging its subscribers with world class tele-novellas on STV E1, great Nollywood and Bollywood movies on E-stars and Bollywood TV respectively.

It also offers uncompromising news on NTA news; 24, Aljazeera, BBC, France 24; all encompassing family entertainment channels, including Nta Entertainment, Eentertainment, Nickolodeon, Kidsco, Discovery World, among others.

According to the statement, an insight on the newly introduced channels, reveals that STV Kungfu will provide subscribers with the best of Chinese movies in addition to live Seria A matches.

Subscribers now have access to more sports channels with MCSports and MCS Extreme for lovers of all kinds of extreme sports.Music lovers now have more musical channels to watch.Apart from the regular BET, MTV Base already existing on the bouquet, the newly introduced STV Music is being considered as a one- stop music channel.
