ABS New Coach Promises Better Days
After he was appointed the new coach of Abubakar Bukola Saraki Football Club at the weekend, Coach Kabir Sulaimon Dogo has promised the management of the club and their teeming fans of better days to come.
The Nigeria Premier League, NPL, club, who currently occupy 11th position on the NPL standings on 33 points, on Saturday confirmed former caretaker Coach, Sulaimon Dogo as their new head coach, as reported by SuperSport.com.
Dogo took over from axed former technical adviser, Erasmus Onuh, who was thrown out by the club’s chairman, Alhaji Abdul Adama after losing 0-1 at home to Enugu Rangers last February in an NPL Matchday 9 fixture decided at the Ilorin Township Stadium. Dogo, acting in an interim capacity, guided ABS to a nine-game unbeaten streak before they were beaten 2-1 at Sharks on Matchday 19 fixture in Port Harcourt.
Speaking to SuperSport.com on his new role, an elated Dogo said: “Special thanks to the management of my team and our entire fans that stood by me since I was appointed as caretaker coach. My promise to them all is that we would continue to fly high in the Nigeria Premier League this season.”
Dogo will resume duty as the head coach against 3SC on Match day 27 duel in Ibadan, on Saturday.
