Screen diva, Caroline Sam also known as Maheeda, has announced her decision to retire from secular music, having given her life to Christ. She has released two gospel promotional songs entitled Halleluyah and The Way of Christ.
Maheeda has been in the music industry for sometime doing secular music, but has announced plans to switch to gospel genre full time.
The song, Halleluyah, dwells on her new found life and love for Christ, thanking God for choosing her as one of His followers.
In a chat with P.M.NEWSEntertainment, she said: “I want to use this medium to inform all my fans out there and those who love me that I am now a changed person and no longer the old person I used to be. God has finally taken over my life and I will continue to sing His praise.”
Maheeda in her speech encouraged upcoming gospel artistes to continue in all their endeavours and never give up because of intimidation. She also called on Nigerians to be positive in their thoughts.
