Laloko Wants Nigerians To Pray For Eagles

Former Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Chief Kashimawo Laloko wants Nigerians to go spiritual for the Super Eagles to win the African Cup of Nations, which kicks off tomorrow in South Africa.

The Director of Pepsi Football Academy, PFA, is asking Nigerians to pray for Stephen Keshi and his Eagles, saying that with the level of preparation of the team, it would require a lot of prayers for Nigeria to put up an appreciable performance at the competition against strong oppositionS from other countries.

The Confederation of African Football, CAF, Instructor, however, disagreed with the First Vice President of the NFF,  Chief  Mike Umeh, over the target given to Keshi to win the Nations Cup, adding that the Eagles’ boss must be allowed to concentrate on the task ahead in South Africa, and not to be distracted.

Laloko, said setting such a target for Keshi would be a distraction to him, as what he needs now is concentration on the job at hand.

“Setting a target for Keshi could be dangerous. Let’s leave Keshi to do his job,” Laloko said.
