Top Yoruba actress, Toyin Aimakhu, has officially got engaged to her boyfriend and M-Net’s Tinsel actor, Adeniyi Johnson.
At a quiet introduction ceremony held Friday afternoon at Aimakhu family house in Ibadan, the actress took a first step towards holy matrimony. It was witnessed by small family members of the couple with none of Toyin’s colleagues in attendance or even aware.

Many got to know of the ceremony immediately it ended as Toyin updated her Blackberry Messenger with their picture from the ceremony kneeling and a profile that read: “Mr and Mrs Adeniyi Johnson Adewumi.”
P.M.NEWS gathered that the new couple met middle of last year on a movie set where they were paired as husband and wife. After the shoot, they continued as friends and five months into their courtship, Niyi proposed to Toyin, few days to New Year during a dinner date.
“Niyi is a great and loving man. He is an actor and understands our job. The Bible says the family that pray together stays together forever. Niyi and I understand each other and we bonded so well,” the actress told P.M.NEWS recently about her man.

Don’t bother yourself, concerned citizen. The youngster, Adeniyi Johnson Adewumi knows what he is up to. I can assure you that he is not a dummy. He is only using her as a stepping stone. We will soon get to the end of the movie in the next two years or thereabout. Stay tuned.

Yes, Toyin like every other human, may and must have made mistakes but please giver her a chance. life isn’t about nailing to the cross. Toyin, though I have only met you once per chance in Romford, UK. way back in 2006/7, i believe you are a good lady.
