Virginity Test: Doctor declares school principal sane

Revd. Olufunke Aladeojebi, the suspended Principal of Ajuwon High School, Ajuwon- Akute in Ifo local government area of Ogun state, in western Nigeria, is sane, according to a medical report.
The woman was suspended from her post following the uproar by parents after she conducted virginity tests on some female students. The woman was also ordered to go for psychiatric examination.

In a statement Friday by the Ogun State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Barr. Olusegun Odubela, copy of which was made available to our correspondent in Abeokuta, the four page report which was prepared and signed by a Consultant Psychiatrist, Special Grade 1, with Nuero Psychiatrist Hospital, Aro, Abeokuta, Dr. Timothy Olaolu Adebowale, he described the embattled school Principal “as well orientated in time and place”.
According to the report, “she was well-orientated in time, place and person, with good attention and concentration.”
The report further described her short and long term memories as “intact”.
“She also demonstrated an appropriate assertiveness in declining to pay for the registration fee for her assessment pointing out that this ought to be paid by the referring body. There was no evidence of impairment of reality testing, or gross personality defect, as she currently expresses realistic views on issues regarding the whole incident in her school and her referral for this assessment”,the report stated.
The psychiatrist attributed the former principal’s mistake to lack of restraint as, “she does not appear to have feelings of personal insecurity, self doubts and incompleteness which could have in addition to her desire for perfection in her work, qualified her for a label of obsessional personality that may explain a proneness to such situational reaction”.
Furthermore, the report blamed the two school nurses, Mrs. Makinde and Mrs. F.A. Lapite who is head of department of Science for not playing the expected professional role and providing ethical voice of reason against the perceived ‘order’ by the principal.
The duo were also interviewed by the Medical Doctor to get further information on the character traits of the former principal and her role in the virginity test.
Dr.Adebowale opined that redeployment of the woman from her present place of assignment will provide some face-saving relief for her and will give her the opportunity to work through her acknowledged mistakes during the crisis.

If the medical test testified her sanity then her actions on the students without the consent of both the students and their parents/guardians were either ritual oriented or lesbian oriented.

The Princpal ment well but crudey implemnted. If you know what is gingon nwadays about this young girls. They are worse than prostitues. Can you imagine a JS1 student befrinding a 51 year old truck driver for money?

Who asked the so called consultant psychiatrist- Dr Adebowale, his opinion on the incident ? His brief was to determine the sanity/insanity level of the principal. Why did he shamelessly and unprofessionally exceeding his terms of reference by engaging in blame game in favour of the culpable principal ?
That is one of the major problems in this country:CORRUPTION !!!.
I’m sure Dr Adebowale must have been grossly influenced,pecuniarily , by the principal to produce the report due to the shameless brazen attempt by the psychiatrist to exonerate the woman by playing the judge in a case he has no legal competence to decide. SHAME ON HIM.
