It was joy galore at the Deeper Life Conference Centre, DLCC, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State, southwest Nigeria at the weekend when two couples shared their testimonies about how they gave birth to quadruplets and triplets respectively.

The over 100,000 participant at the monthly Miracle and Revival Service of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, tagged: Night of Total Breakthrough, were overwhelmed with joy when the couples gave their testimonies and brought their babies to the podium.

The quadruplets were born to the family of Mark Ogwanighie who lives at Anthony area of Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria. Three women and the father of the quadruplets brought the babies born in March, 2013 to the podium as Mrs Ogwanighie took the microphone to share her testimony.

She said she was married in 2006 and gave birth to her first baby, a girl in 2011 after five years of waiting to get a child and that she suffered before she could deliver the baby.

Ogwanighie said God visited her in dramatic fashion in March, 2013 when she delivered the quadruplet-two boys and two girls, while the audience erupted in joy.

Earlier, the family of Ikekanachukwu Akwaja, who lives at Ejigbo area of Lagos also spoke about giving birth to triplets after 13 years of marriage.

According to Mrs. Akwaja, she had been married since year 2000, saying she and her husband had waited for the fruit of the womb for 13 years before God visited them with triplets-a boy and two girls.

She explained that friends and family members had counselled her to visit deliverance houses to make special prayers by the river side, but that God gave them the grace to turn down the numerous negative suggestions and resorted to praying to God for the fruit of the womb.

Akwaja stated that opportunity came last year when she and her husband met with the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi after one of the combined Sunday services of the church, who prayed for them for fruit of the womb.

She said the miraculous pregnancy was confirmed few weeks after the monthly miracle and revival service of the church in June 2012, while she gave birth to triplets in March 2013.

Speaking at the event, Pastor Kumuyi, in his messages titled God’s Unbreakable Covenant For Our Breakthrough, said prosperity would not come for Christians who refused to sow the seed of hardwork and diligence.

He said at this time of insecurity in Nigeria and some parts of the world, God is still in the business of securing the safety of His children, saying “This is the land where God wants you to be. Let us not be like the orphans that have no place to settle, God will protect you.

“There is no room for laziness. Don’t be idle, wake up and do something. Make sure you are not leaving what you ought to do behind. There should be no room for laziness and loitering, commit yourself to the work you have to do and prosperity will come your way,” he said.

He added that “there should not be any man or woman that is so lazy that he will come home in the evening without anything. Whatsoever a man sows, he shall reap. Students should sow hard work and intelligence and such students will reap good certificate. Sow something in people’s lives. This is the moment of your breakthroughs as God has promised to pour out a blessing upon your life.”
