EFCC Declares Two Suspected Oil Subsidy Thieves Wanted

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has declared two persons accused of defrauding the Federal Government in bogus oil subsidy claims wanted.

They are Seun Ogunbambo and Habila Theck, Managing Director and General Manager, Operations respectively of Fargo Petroleum and Gas Limited.

They are wanted in connection with a case of alleged conspiracy, forgery and obtaining the sum of N976.6m from the Petroleum Support Fund by false pretence.

The duo have been standing trial before a Lagos state High court but disappeared after being released on bail, forcing the court to issue a warrant for their arrest.

According to EFCC, the light complexioned Ogunbambo speaks English and Yoruba, while Theck is fluent in English and Hausa languages.

EFCC said Ogunbambo’s last known address is 2, Olamiyuyan Crescent, Ikoyi, Lagos while Theck’s is 89, Buck Field, Yaba, Lagos.
