Nigeria’s Super Eagles’ Coach, Stephen Keshi has replaced Uche Nwofor of SC Heerenveen, Netherlands with Bright Dike of Toronto FC, Canada, in his squad to face both Ethiopia and Italy.

The Eagles will face Ethiopia in a 2014 World Cup qualifier and Italy in an International friendly game.

The change is contained in a statement from Ademola Olajire, Assistant Director, Media, the Nigeria Football Association (NFA) on Sunday in Abuja.

While the Eagles’ World Cup qualifying match against Ethiopian holds at the U.J. Esuene Stadium, Calabar on 16 November, the friendly against Italy holds in London two days after.

The Eagles are carrying a 2-1 goal advantage from the first leg match in Addis Ababa on 13 October.

The statement said the National team would be facing four- time World champions, Italy in the friendly at the Craven Cottage ground, London on 18 November.

“We are bringing him (Dike) into the squad because we know what he is capable of doing and we believe he is fully fit to deliver,” Keshi said.

Meanwhile, the statement added that World football governing body, FIFA has replaced Rwandan official, Felicien Kabanda, earlier billed to serve as second assistant referee in the match with, Marwa Range from Kenya.

The statement added that all other officials previously announced would retain their roles.
