Adegbenro said that a bill to enact it into law would be sent to the state House of Assembly for approval.

Mrs Olawumi Ilawole, the Senior Adviser on Education to the Governor, said that the SEC was able to pass the memo to set out administrative structure and policy management of the Public Service Training School, Ilara-Mokin .

Ilawole said the school, established by the last administration, would henceforth have its structure and curriculum with courses to be taught in the school.

She added that the school would enhance competences of public servants through its world-class facilities.

According to her, it is now compulsory for every public servant in the state to undergo at least a training programme every year to qualify for promotion and career progression.

The SA added that public servants must have requisite knowledge and training so that they could be more efficient to carry out transformational agenda of the present administration in the state.
