The widow of Inspector Sunday Baba, an officer with Rivers State Police Command who was recently killed by yet-to-be-identified assailants has cried out for justice and assistance to cater for the two toddlers her late husband left behind.

Mrs Sunday Baba, made the requests in tears when members of Police Community Relations Committee(PCRC) in Rivers State led by its Chairman, Mr. Voke Emore, on Tuesday visited the family in Elele, Ikwerre local government area.

She said the untimely death of her husband, who was killed in an unclear circumstance at Rumulomeni in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area last week Wednesday has left her traumatized and in a dilemma how to train the two female toddlers he left behind.

In tears she said, “I need justice. He’s not supposed to die like that. Sunday is a very kind man, a lovely man. He cares for his children. Each time he comes back from work, anywhere he was going, he takes his children along.

“I have a long way to go. I don’t have any helper. Sunday is the only son of his family”.

In an interview with Journalists, the Rivers State Chairman of PCRC, Voke Emore enjoined members of the public to stop attacks on Policemen who take great risks to save lives and property in the society.
