Kano governor Abba Yusuf on Monday approved fresh appointments and promotions, effective immediately to key government agencies.
This is contained in a statement issued by his Spokesperson Sanusi Bature , in Kano on Monday.
Bature said that the key appointments included Abubakar Matawalle as Acting Director-General, Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board.
The Governor also promoted Yusuf Mukhtar to the position of Permanent Secretary while Rahama Malam Alhaji was appointed as the Provost, Kano State Anti-Corruption Institute.
Yusuf also promoted Aina’u Ade as his Senior Special Assistant, Kanywood Affairs.
“Matawalle, a seasoned administrator, previously served as Executive Secretary of the Pilgrims’ Board and Permanent Secretary Establishment.
“Rahama Malam Alhaji is a highly accomplished legal professional with expertise in litigation, corporate law, and regulatory compliance while Aina’u Ade’s promotion is based on her outstanding performance.”
