Shehu Sani weighs in on Ifunaya’s tragic death

Nigerian Senator, Shehu Sani, has addressed the death of young singer Ifunaya, who passed on after being bitten by a snake at her home.

The senator on his X handle on Monday, stated that her tragic death should serve as a lesson to Nigerians. While offering advice on ways to avoid such tragedy, Sani warned against littering ones homes with eggshells.

He explained that snakes are attracted to egg shells and rats, adding that people should take better precaution in their homes.

”The tragic death of Ifunaya from snake bite should be a great lesson for us all. A snake charmer from Zaria recently revealed that nothing attracts snakes to our homes like littered Eggs shells and Rats. He further explained that some of the battles going on inside our ceilings or POP is between the Snakes and the Rats. May her gentle soul rest in peace,” he wrote.
