The Prelate, Methodist Church Nigeria, Dr. Sunday Ola Makinde, has charged members of the political ruling class to rule with the fear of God at all times to justify the confidence reposed in them.
They have also been enjoined to formulate humane policies to cushion the peoples’ problems.
Makinde made the remarks while fielding questions from journalists at the formal foundation stone laying of the Prelate’s Guest House at the Methodist Theological Institute, MTI, Sagamu, Ogun State, sponsored by the Diocese of Remo, Methodist Church Nigeria.
Commending the organisers of the event for sponsoring such a befitting edifice, Dr. Makinde lamented Nigeria’s present unfortunate situation which he said was caused by a faulty foundation, coupled with the reckless, nonchalant attitude of some of her past bad leaders.
Dr. Makinde, while assuring the nation of a better, secure tomorrow, urged Nigerians to pray fervently for the success of President Jonathan Ebele Goodluck’s administration.
