Prince Emmanuel Olu Akapo is now the Sports Secretary of Lagos State Public Service Club, LSPSC.
Akapo, who is also the General Secretary of Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria, YSFON, Lagos Chapter and the Sports Officer of Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, won the election held on Friday, 14 May, 2010 at the secretariat of the LSPSC at GRA, Ikeja.
After he was declared winner of the poll, Prince Akapo promised that he would not disappoint the members.
“I’ll follow my campaign promises to the letter by ensuring that there is even development of sports in the club. Introduction of monthly physical exercise for members. Staging of an annual competition and inter club championships are just a few of what we have on our agenda. My tenure as the Sports Secretary of our great club will see an improved and maintenance of our sports facilities,†he said.
