Unilorin Suspends One Student, Expels 26 Others

The authorities of University of Ilorin have suspended a student of the Department of Linguistics and Nigerian Languages, Oniyangi Kehinde, with matriculation number of 07/15CB084 for a session, while 26 others were expelled from the institution.

In a release made available to Campus Square, the students were punished after they have found guilty of different acts of misconduct.

The expelled students are Afolayan Habakuku Oluwafikayo, Alokwe Aligameh Adebiyi, Imam Olaide Adams, Adewumi Titus Adebisi,  Isiaka Olalekan Taofek, Ighalo Ekunomen Angela, Olabode Sunday Samuel, Omotuyi Babafemi Adekunle and Mohammed Bolanta.

Others are Shittu Hammed Adesanmi, Olasebikan Seun Samson, Babalola Samuel Kayode, Adeoye Abiodun Adeyemi, Fache Nurudeen Enessi , Ishola  Ganiyat Abeni, Adegbolu Stephen Dere,  Salawu Musa Damilare, Ajao Aliyu Bukoye and Kuti Khafiyat Tewiola.

Mohammed Alli Khadijat , Durojaiye Rufai Shehu, Raji Olukunle Segun, Saadu Muritala Mohammed, Abidoye Oyebode and Shuaib Abdulrasheed  are among the expelled students.

Meanwhile, the suspended student’s punishment starts from second semester, 2009/2010 session to first Semester 2010/2011 session.
