The Lagos State chapter of the Action Congress has told the Ekiti PDP and the Segun Oni government that no amount of poorly articulated and ill conceived propaganda will prevent it from returning the stolen mandate of Ekiti people.

The party says that Ekiti PDP’s poorly articulated propaganda and gutter tactics have not attempted to answer the charge that the Oni government purchased the verdict of the Barka Hamman tribunal with the allocation that should have improved the lives of Ekiti people but is rather engaged in a wild goose chase in a bid to keep a stolen mandate by all means.

In a release in Lagos, signed by the Publicity Secretary of the Lagos State chapter of the Action Congress, Joe Igbokwe, Lagos AC says that the desperation of Ekiti government and the PDP operating under several fake pseudonyms is worsened by the fact that Nigerians and the whole world are all aware of the macabre and open dance of shame that diverted the mandate of Dr. Fayemi to the PDP both in April 2007 and April 2009.

It advises the Ekiti PDP to prepare to return its stolen loot instead of hoping that through such acts of diverting attention from the serious charge of deliberate compromise of the Ekiti tribunal, it would be allowed to keep a mandate that doesn’t belong to it.

“Once again, Ekiti state governments under Oni and the Ekiti PDP have resorted to their cowardly means of fending off mounting questions about its scruples by adopting spurious and non-existent groups to raise wild allegations against the nemesis of the PDP in the South West, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. One would have asked what happened to their first allegations of billions being raised by Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to purchase the verdict of the Hamman tribunal.

“With the damning allegation that the desperate Ekiti government and the state PDP, in cahoots with their area fathers and do-and-die godfather traded the allocations of Ekiti State to buy the majority judgment of the Ekiti state election tribunal, these desperadoes have moved to another wild allegation that Asiwaju Tinubu has raised another N500 million to rubbish the verdict, which was rubbished by the many contradictions and loose ends that once again, accompanied this latest spurious ranting.”

just because it used the state allocations to purchase the Hamman tribunal verdict. Shadow boxing through fake, fictitious and spurious groups and names will neither save it from being forced to return its stolen loot and from a possible extinction in Ekiti State in the nearest future.”
