Super Eagles striker, Obafemi Akinwunmi Martins, has revealed that it would take a miracle for the team to meet the expectations of Nigerians at the 2010 World Cup, which kicks-off in South Africa in 13 days time.

The Wolfsburg of Germany Striker said on Brila FM yesterday  that as much as the team wish to do well at the Mundial it is going to be difficult for them to go all the way.

Martins stated that they are ready to go the extra mile to make Nigerians happy but he cautioned that their group opponents, Argentina, Greece and South Korea are good sides that may dash their hopes.

Speaking further, he explained that the Super Eagles are a bunch of good and talented individual players who can hold their own against any team but stated that lack of cohesion may be their bane.

He, however, promised that they will not disappoint the nation when the mundial kicks off on 11June.
