A 400 level student of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria, Mojeed Balogun, has allegedly stabbed his best friend, simply identified as Yemi, to death with a broken bottle.

P.M.NEWS sources alleged that Mojeed committed the act in order to satisfy his girlfriend, Sarah Moses, a resident of 291, Borno Way, Ebute Metta, Lagos, who was said to have sold a Nokia 6300 handset to the deceased for N5,000.

According to an eyewitness account, fight broke out between Balogun and Yemi when Balogun attempted  to recover the debt the deceased owed Miss Moses.

Sources told P.M.NEWS that Yemi and Miss Mosses were lovers for four months before they parted ways.

Before their relationship turned sour, the late Yemi, a mechanic apprentice at Mcullum Street, end of Borno Way, Ebute-Metta, bought the handset from her. He paid only N2,000 and promised to pay the balance of N3,000 later.

It was gathered that Miss Moses appealed to Yemi to pay up his debt, but he refused. She, therefore, sought the help of  Balogun, her new lover, who went to meet him.
