Fire Razes LG Electronics

The office of electronics merchants, LG Electronics, at Warehouse Road, Apapa, Lagos, Nigeria was razed by an early morning fire, leading to loss of properties worth millions of naira.

According to sources, the fire started at about 7.45 a.m. but no one could ascertain the cause of the fire.

The General Manager, LG Electronics, Mr. Ali Sounni confirmed that the fire started early this morning.

He could not say what caused it but  confirmed that some airconditioners were on in the office at the time the incident happened.

Firemen from the Lagos State Fire and Safety Service, P.M.NEWS gathered, arrived the scene at about 8 a.m. and have been battling to put the fire under control.

At the time of filling this report, the firemen had not succeeded in putting out the fire.
