President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has been enjoined to revisit the age-long relationship between Nigeria and Poland which had been long shunned or neglected.
This is because such urgent reconsideration now will afford Poland the opportunity to assist Nigeria positively, constructively and gainfully in her determined zeal to revamp her economy, especially in such viable areas of uninterrupted power supply, functional and reliable railway system, profitable steel industry, crude oil refinery and agriculture, among others, through the Poland’s world acknowledged modern technology and expertise at a convenience to the nation’s economy.
The President, Nigeria-Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chief Julius Sunday Ogunyemi, made the remarks in a congratulatory letter to Jonathan, on his elevation to the position of President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
While assuring his administration of the chamber’s support and unflinching loyalty at all times, Chief Ogunyemi pleaded with Nigerians to endure with the present administration as well as dutifully and objectively assist it with such constructive, gainful suggestions, advice and solutions that would conveniently lead it to the promised land.
