As the Mundial gets underway in South Africa , a Lagos based company, Secure Electronics Technology (SET) Plc in conjunction with a Spanish Company, Bettymovil, has introduced to soccer-loving Nigerians a mobile gaming system called Rapido for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Bettymovil’s Chief Operating Officer, Enric Sola, while launching Rapido in Lagos, noted that the product was introduced into the Nigerian market to further boost the passion for the game of football and other sporting events after the World Cup. The players would be able to make cash for themselves while the competition lasts.

The Nigerian spokesperson of the group, Mrs. Funke Kuti, further disclosed that Rapido had earlier been launched in some other African countries such as Togo and Burkina Faso and they intend to introduce it to other African countries after the World Cup.
