Ex-beauty queen and director of Save Tomorrow’s Today Project, Miss Maryam Elisah, has said that putting smile on the faces of children is one of her priorities.
Since she was crowned a beauty queen in 2007, Maryam has always dedicated her time to celebrating with children, particularly the less privileged among them every 27 May (Children’s Day).
She, however, marked this year’s edition with less privileged children at Water Parks, Toyin Street, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.
The final year English Language student of the University of Lagos told P.M. Entertainment that “the purpose of the project is to give hope and a future to the destitute and let them know that something good could come out of their lives and that they can be given befitting education.â€
