It was presented to the dairy company in recognition of its support, contribution and partnership with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Anti-AIDS Club, an ongoing programme meant for enlightening, educating and creating awareness about Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) among the youths as well as help to fight stigmatisation among people living with HIV/AIDS.

Tagged Ride for Life, the event floated by the CDC, an NGO under the leadership of Dr. Yinka Akindayomi, is aimed at saving human existence with determination to raise up to half a billion naira in order to rescue the ongoing Lagos Living and Learning Centre capital project, the cause for which the CDC is known.
According to her, “everyone deserves the right to life regardless of their abilities, talents, capacities or even the lack of these within the society.â€
The event involved bicycle riding from Chevron Roundabout to the CDC site at Ibeju-Lekki in Lagos State, a distance of about 40 kilometers.
Various support has been given to CDC by Fan Milk Plc over the years and the current yearâ€
Support given include cash gifts for procuring T-shirts and face caps for the riders, while Fan Milk products were also provided free at the eight-branded rest-stops coupled with catering for 1,000 people at the final destination of the riders at Ibeju-Lekki.
