Lagos Inter Tertiary Games: N2.3m Up For Grabs In Football Event

P.M. Sports can report that the winners in the football event of the second edition of the Lagos Inter Tertiary Games will earn the sum of N2.3million.

A breakdown of the prize money received from the organisers of the biennial event revealed that the first position will go home with the sum of N1,250,000, while runners-up and third placed team will pocket the sum of N650,000 and N400,000 respectively.

In the maiden edition, where the winner went home with N1,000,000, while the runners-up and third placed team were given N500,000 and N300,00 respectively.

The venues for the football event is the Lagos State University, LASU and the Legacy Pitch, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos,while a total of 16 teams would slug it out begining today. It will end on 3 July, 2010.
