Three Killed In Police, Robbers Shootout

Three armed robbers have been killed and a Toyota Avalon car recovered during a shootout between an anti-robbery police team from Anthony Police Station,   and the gang at Anthony Village, Maryland, Lagos State, Nigeria.

According to investigation, the robbers stormed Farombi Ajike Street, Anthony Village at about 10.15 pm  and were intercepted by the policemen dispatched to the area when a distress call was made to the station.

Two double barrel shotguns, six live cartridges and  a Toyota Avalon car with registration number PN 122 KJA were also recovered from the robbers.

The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti, Yaba for further investigation.
