Aregbesola Urged To Pursue Mandate

An Action Congress, AC, stalwart  in Ayobo Ipaja Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Nigeria, Prince Owen Alao Adeniran, has condemned the judgement delivered by the Osun State Retrial Tribunal, led by Justice Garba Alli, and urged the gubernatorial candidate of the party in the state, Engr. Rauf Aregbesola, not to back out in his resolve to pursue the case to the Appeal Court.

Speaking with P.M.NEWS recently, Prince Adeniran described the judgement as judgement without justice. He stated further that he disagreed with the verdict of the tribunal and urged the Action Congress candidate to pursue the appeal already filed vigorously.

According to him, Aregbesola will still rule Osun State, his leadership quality, selflessness and humility stand him out as exemplified by his political activities in Lagos and Osun State. Adeniran is optimistic that hope is not lost and that victory will come as the battle continues at the Court of Appeal.

Commending Aregbesola for the steps taken so far to pursue his mandate, the AC stalwart said: “We are glad to note that both Engr. Aregbesola and our party, Action Congress, has appealed against the said judgement. The matter should be followed to its logical conclusion so that history could properly record those who hijacked a mandate that never belonged to them.”
