A deputy Superintendent of police to Ogudu, â€œArea Hâ€ Command, Lagos Nigeria,Â (DSP) Musiliu Omokaro has slumped and died after a night duty.
P.M.NEWS gathered from police sources this morning that DSP Omokaro, who was the Area Command Administrative Officer, answered a distress call that took him out of office on Sunday night till the early morning of Monday.
According to our sources, when he returned to the office, Omokaro collapsed, foaming in the mouth while blood was gushing out of his nostrils.
Colleagues rushed him to an undisclosed nearby private hospital where he died a few minutes after he was admitted.
P.M.NEWS learnt that the late Omokaro will be buried tomorrow. Details of the burial plans were still sketchy as at press time.
An officer at the Ogudu â€˜Area Hâ€™ Police Command described the late Omokaro as a hard working police officer who always answered distress calls without any hesitation and he would be missed by all his colleagues.
