Beware Of Sycophants, Jonathan Advised


A cleric, Prophet Samuel Olawale Kogberegbe, has advised President Goodluck Jonathan to beware of pastors he described as prayer merchants.

Speaking with P.M.NEWS in his church on Kogberegbe Street, Isolo, Lagos, Nigeria, the prophet said since President Jonathan has his Bible and could read and pray, he should not give room to businessmen masquerading as pastors.

The primate and founder of the Lord Cherubim and Seraphim (Aladura) in Nigeria an Overseas, listed people who can pray for the president to include the Pope, the catholic leader in Nigeria, Cardinal Anthony Olubunmi Okogie and the Chief Imam.

Kogberegbe said all these religious leaders will not depart their headquarters or offices to Aso Rock Villa, Abuja in the name of praying for the president, whereas, the populace know that some pastors visit the seat of power to collect “Ghana Must Go” bags.

In addition to reverred of men of God, like the Pope praying for him, Kogberegbe said Jonathan should direct pastors who genuinely intend to pray for him to do so with their congregations in their various churches.
