Nigeria’s Super Falconets will have their hands full when they confront pacy Japanese ladies in tomorrow’s second group match of the FIFA U-20 Women World Cup in Germany.
Both teams have a point in their group and a win for the Nigerian ladies in the encounter will brighten their chances to qualify for the group stage. There is no doubt that the match will be keenly contested as both teams need victory in the crucial game to progress to the next stage of the championship.
Desire Oparanozie, who scored the equaliser for Nigeria in their first group match against England, will also be looking forward to increasing her tally against Japan.
Japanese Mana Iwabuchi will be a torn in the flesh of the Nigerian ladies in the match as she was instrumental to Japan’s 3-3 draw against Mexico in the first group match on Wednesday.
Coach of the Nigerian side, Egan Adat, said his team are ready to give the Japanese a good run for their money, adding that the better side will eventually win the game.
