King of gospel music, Evangelist Femi Opalemo, has joined the league of top artistes who have at one time or the other veered into hospitality business as he opens a state-of-the-art event plaza.
Christened Tant One, the cosy rendezvous is a haven of peace and serenity and a place away from the bustle and hussle of Lagos. It is situated on Progress Road, New Oko Oba, Agege, Lagos and boasts of a 400 capacity hall, two guest rooms for VIPs and a dais.
According to one of the managers of the outfit, Kayode Ashaolu, Tant One is established to cater for the yearning of corporate patrons irrespective of their religion who want the best at all times.
Responding to a poser, Ashaolu explained that Femi Opalemo’s plaza is not the first and it is not going to be the last because a number of top and elderly artistes have established outfits similar to this, adding that business venture is different from music, whether gospel or otherwise.
He cited the instance of Snr.Apostle
Moses Olaiya Adejumo a.k.a. Baba Sala, who established Awada Spot in Ibadan, KSA’s Ariya Night Club at Jibowu, Lagbaja’s Motherlan’ and Dr. Victor Abimbola Olaiya’s Stadium Hotel, to mention a few.
Meanwhile, Tant One will be officially commissioned very soon to commemorate Opalemo’s 40th birthday anniversary.
