Though the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, in charge of the Idimu was not available for comment, a source close to the police informed our correspondent that officers and men of the Idimu division have been in sober mood since the incident happened.

The source said Sergeant Henry was killed, barely a month after another policeman, Corporal Monday Ijebor, was shot dead by armed robbers.
