He gave the advice this morning during a courtesy visit to Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala as part of the activities lined up for the conference.

He noted that it was not good for the state that its judicial system is paralyzed, adding that many things would be affected by the industrial action.

He also urged government at all levels to ensure credible and hitch-free election in 2011, adding that it is only credible election that could save the nation from chaos.

“Lawyers are here to hold election into the national offices of NBA. It will be credible and hitch-free. The nation should learn how to organise credible election from lawyers,” he said.

Governor Akala in his reaction refused to comment on the NBA’s appeal on the ongoing judicial workers’ strike.

He stated that it would be difficult for him to attend the conference because of his daughter’s wedding slated for tomorrow and Friday.

He, however, assured that he would be fully represented at the occasion.
