The show, according to the comedy merchant is part of efforts to continually spread the tentacle of entertainment beyond Lagos and Africa.

This year will be the 10th year edition of the Nigerian show and the fifth of the London show, which usually holds on the last Sunday in August, but over the years, the show has been taken to different parts of the world including Atlanta, Maryland and Los Angeles, among others.

This year’s Abuja and London shows promise to be the mother of all shows, considering the fact that Nigeria will be celebrating her 50th Independence anniversary and activities lined up for the Abuja show include a red carpet, an interactive session with the audience and a special recognition for those whose birthday falls in August.
