Football fans in Ogun State would have a swell time from today as this yearâ€™s Nigeria Premier League, NPL Super 4 hold at the Ijebu-Ode Stadium.
Shortly after the opening ceremony of the tourney to be conducted by top government officials of Ogun State, Kwara United of Ilorin and Kano Pillars would trade tackles in the opening match.
Kwara State governor, Bukola Saraki has charged his pet team, United to return home with the Super 4 trophy, while Pillars, who lost the first position during the regular season to Enyimba are chasing the cup.
Another top flight match betweenÂ Enyimba International of Aba and Sunshine Stars of Akure holds later this evening.
The new NPL leadership, led by former Rangers player/manager, Davidson Owumi says the IjebuÂ fans would enjoy the best of the Nigerian Premier League from today till Sunday.
