The Isheri Osun Indigenous Youth Forum in Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, South West Nigeria, has drawn the attention of the state governor, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, to an unfolding ugly development in the community and investigate the activities of impostors in the town.

In a statement signed by the vice president, Chief Mufutau Olatunde Disu, who also doubles as the secretary of the Isheri Osun Council of Chiefs, the group alleged that a man from Oke Imoye, a neighboring community, who parades himself as the secretary of the town and one of his allies, who hails from Ifo in Ogun State, claiming to be Eletu, are mere impostors.

The statement said the claim of the duo is not only deceptive but totally false, adding that the authentic secretary of Isheri Osun is Chief Mufutau Olatunde Disu, while Chief S.A. Akinde a.k.a. Omo Iya Oniburedi is the real Eletu of the town installed by the only Oloruti and Afobaje of Isheri Osun, Chief Shitta Abeleyi.

In  his reaction, Chief Shitta stated that the claim of the duo to the traditional titles of secretary and Eletu respectively, are false and should be discarded, while calling on Governor Fashola, to speedly approval the installation of rightful Oba-elect of the town, High Chief Samsudeen Amoo Mojeed of Laigbo-Osu ruling house, who has been a unifying factor in the town, having contributed in no small measure to the development that has marked Isheri Osun out as a unique community in Lagos State.
