Robbery Suspect Killed

Anti-robbery policemen attached to Area ‘D’ Command, Mushin, have killed a suspected armed robber after a gun duel with members of a robbery gang.

Acting on a tip-off, the policemen reportedly stormed the hideout of the suspects at Ire-Akari, Estate, Isolo, Lagos, Nigeria.

Investigation revealed that one of the suspects was arrested with a bullet wound but later died on the way to the hospital while the others escaped.

A locally made pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from the deceased.

Lagos State Police Command spokesman, Supol Frank Mba confirmed the story, adding that investigation of the matter had been transferred to the state CID, Panti, Yaba.
