The Onijegun of Ijegunland, Oba Nureni Alani Akinremi Olomitutu Kudejibu 1, is set to make his first public outing after his installation three months ago.
According to the chairman of the organising committee of the event, Chief Ganiu Toriola Omolaja, the maiden public outing will be marked with series of activities.
“It is going to be a three day event, starting from Thursday, 19 August and ending on Saturday, 21 August, 2010,” he disclosed.
Omolaja revealed further that the highlight of the event will be the installation of prominent people who have contributed to the development of the town as chiefs.
Top on the bill of those to be installed as chiefs is the Lagos State Commissioner for Agriculture and Cooperatives, Chief Enoch Kolapomoye Ajiboso, who will be installed the Alana (Pathfinder) of Ijegunland while Omolaja will be installed Bobagunwa of Ijegunland.
Others are Chief Bola Akinremi, Asiwaju of Ijegunland, Lukman Akinremi, Oluwo of Ijegunland, Johnson Olufemi Taylor, Bobagbimo of Ijegunland, Akanni Johnson Ajala, Bobaselu of Ijegunland, Olubisi Solomon Ajiboso, Otun Atayese of Ijegunland, and Shakirat Akinremi, Erelu of Ijegunland.
