The Oba-elect of Igbo Elerin in Iba Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, South West, Nigeria, Alhaji Sikiru Kolawole Ajagungbade Aina, has tasked Muslims in the state on life after Ramadan.
Alhaji Aina, in a Ramadan message, said every Muslim should endeavour to keep the good deeds and teachings of the exercise.
According to him, the purpose of bringing Muslims together is to inculcate in them what they were taught during Ramadan and ensure that they don’t deviate from them.
“I advise Muslims not to go back to forgotten characters because they realised they were not good during the month of Ramadan,†he stated, while also urging them to observe the Ramadan fast with dedication in order to earn the rewards associated with the exercise.
The whole month of Ramadan, he said, offers another opportunity to be dedicated to the Almighty Allah and to increase in acts of devotion to Him, while appealing to traders not to increase prices of commodities during the period.
