Since the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan commenced a fortnight ago, a campaign group called Eko o ni baje has been feeding Muslims with bread.
The medium size bread with a label showing the name of the group and Lagos State Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola’s photograph is christened “BRF Bread.†It is given free to Muslims at the Lagos State government secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, media houses and other areas in the Lagos metropolis.
The bread label also has 2011 printed boldly on it. P.M.NEWS gathered that the distribution will last till the end of the Ramadan fasting period, early next month.
