A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos this afternoon adjourned till Monday to decide whether to admit to bail or not the former Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Intercontinental Bank, Dr. Erastus B.O. Akingbola.
In his argument earlier today, counsel to Akingbola, Chief Felix Fagbohungbe, urged the court to grant him bail.
He debunked all the allegations levelled against the former Intercontinental Bank boss.
However, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, lawyer opposed the bail application.
The presiding judge, Justice Idris Mohammed, having listened to both counsel, adjourned sitting to Monday for his ruling.
