As the Golden Eaglets depart Nigeria today for Congo ahead of this weekend’s Rwanda 2011 U-17 Junior Nations Cup qualifying match against Congo, Chief Coach, Monday Odigie has predicted a tough duel for his team.

Odigie in a chat with P.M.Sports disclosed that the Congolese youths will not be easy nuts to crack but admitted that it is the outcome of the encounter that really matters.

The former Bayelsa United soccer tactician said he knows little or nothing about their opponents, which would make the match tough for his wards, who would traveling out of the country for the first time.

He, however, assured Nigerians that he would do everything within his powers to come back into the country with a point, which would bolster their chances in the return leg.

According to him, “we are going to Congo for a mission and that mission is to win the match, the match I believe would be tough but that does not mean that we can’t win. We don’t know anything about our opponents but with the help of God, we would come back victorious.”
