The National President of Anwar-Ul Islam Movement of Nigeria, Alhaji Mubashir Adekunle Ojelade, has called on Muslims all over the world to give zakat and sadaqat to the less privileged during the ongoing Ramadan as practised by the Holy Prophet Muhammed.
Ojelade was speaking with journalist at a press conference held at the movement’s headquarters in Surulere, Lagos, last Sunday.
He stressed that Ramadan is a time for all Muslims to remember the common values that bind them together as human beings, adding that it is in this month that the Holy Qur’an was revealed to mankind through Prophet Muhammed (SAW).
He, however, advised that they must show kindness, compassion and live in peace with one another.
