The producers of The Supermom Reality TV show, Digital Interactive Media, have announced that Dufil Prima Foods Plc, makers of Indomie Noodles and Procter & Gamble, makers of Always Pampers, Vicks, and Ariel, have shown committed interest in sponsoring the very sentimental and emotional reality show created to celebrate great mothers in the country.
Sola Fajobi, CEO, DIM, said the resolve of the prospective sponsors to be part of The Supermom is perhaps because these vibrant companies have found a connection between their brands and the great mothers committed to celebrate with the show.
“If you checked their corporate core values, you’ll find that both companies and their super brands are dedicated to being socially responsible and have consistently demonstrated their responsibility by supporting activities involving their consumers and the community, whereby mothers are key members,†said Fajobi.
The sponsorship considerations are coming at a time when the first phase of collating short story entries for the show had been concluded.
A special committee has selected the top 20 most emotive stories, while the entrants were interviewed and their mothers would soon be unveiled to the public, Fajobi added
Further, he averred that the emotional, true life experiences shared in the final 20 stories will be screen-played and re-enacted by top movie stars in short films of 30 minutes to be syndicated on 24 TV stations. Viewers will ultimately be judges of the series which will show for 13 weeks until the most emotional story is voted winner and the mother whose story is voted the best wins a brand new house, a brand new car, jewellery and an all-expense-paid trip abroad.
