I'm Not Oba Yet —Mogaji Ogbere

The Mogaji of Ogbere of Isolo Kingdom, Chief Shamusideen Amoo Mojeed has debunked a  newspaper report referring to him as Oba of Isheri Oshun rather he disclosed that he just an  Oba elect.

He made disclosure while speaking with Journalists on the report in one of the National  Newspapers referred to him as Oba of sher Oshun. He said that his attention was called to  that report and it is necessary for him to clear the ground on that report.

Chief Mojeed stated that though his people wanted him to ascend the throne of his  forefathers but according to him, “we should cross the bridge when we get to the river but  he has not get to the river, why will he be crossing the bridge without getting to the  river”.

Speaking on the transformation that is going on in Lagos State , Chief Mojeed who is also  the head of family stated that since he was born he has never seen a governor like Governor  Babatunde Raji Fashola in terms of performance.

Mogaji Ogbere and Oba elect of Isheri Oshun maintained that he has been on air several times  showing appreciation about the performance of Governor Fashola.

He reiterated the support of Isheri Oshun people to the present administration in the state  and appealed to his people and Lagos as a whole to be up and doing in discharging their  statutory obligations as in payment of their necessary taxes so as for government to  continue to bring dividend of democracy to their doorstep.

Chief Mojeed pointed out that going round Lagos State, it is clear that taxpayer money is on  course as the state has assuming number one state in the comity of the 36 States of the  Federation in terms of infrastructural development, growth and enhancement of the standard  of living of Lagosians.

He then called on all the politicians across the country as 2011 election is approaching to  imbibe the culture of fair play and comfort themselves in free and fair election that devoid  of hooliganism and violence.
