Ex-SSG’s Son Arrested For Murder

Niger State Police Command says it has succeeded in arresting the suspected muderer of Umar  Danjuma and Sunday who were killed on the 4th of this month over a girlfreind

While parading the suspect, the police gave his name as Muhammed Inuwa, son of former  Secretary to Niger State Government during Eng Abdulkadir Kure administration, Alhaji Inuwa  Erena

The car that the suspect used in killing the victims was also presented to newsmen. The car  is a Mercedes c200 with registration number – Niger AE 776 PAK.

The suspect, who spoke in tears, denied the allegation saying “ How can I kill? I am a  student studying in United Kingdom. I am planning to go back, I am not a murderer.”

The girl, at the centre of the incident, Martha Andrew, identified Muhammed Inuwa as the  killer of her boyfriend and his pal on the 4th of September 2010.

“Yes he is the one. He killed my boy friend,” he said.

Meanwhile, the state police commissioner Mike Zoukumor said the command succeeded in  arresting the suspect following useful information they got from Martha.
