The National Union Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Lagos state chapter, under the leadership of Comrade Rafiu Olohunwa, has been described as a ‘new brand union’.

Comrade Tokunboh Seriki, chairman, Ojodu branch of the union said this recently in Lagos while speaking with newmen when he conducted them round the newly constructed secretariat of the branch.

Seriki stated that it would be wrong for anyone to refer to the members of the union, especially in Lagos state as area boys Agbero, with their investments and contribution to the nation’s economy.

He commended the state chairman, Olohunwa, for the re-branding initiative and refocusing the union; which he said have positively changed the image of the union in corporate world.
