SuperSports, says it has a lot of innovations to make the Nigerian league attractive to viewers during the 2010/11 football season.
In an interactive media session at the weekend in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria Felix Awogu, General Manager, SuperSports Nigeria, said the South Africa based company is more committed to the development of Nigerian league, as it is working to ensure that SuperSports gives its Nigerian viewers the best they deserve.
According to Awogu, “SuperSports has become a household name in Nigeria and we cannot but ensure that they get the best from us. We are working with the Nigeria Premier League, NPL to make sure that our Nigerian viewers enjoy more matches when the league kicks off.â€
Awogu called on the NPL, headed by Davidson Owumi and the clubs in the Premier League to develop the league to attract more fans to the stadia and lure corporate organisations for sponsorship.
